Apply Driving Licence Online : To apply for Driving Licence in Hyderabad, chennai, mumbai, calcutta, delhi or where ever you are from India first you have to get the address of your nearest RTA Office .An address proof and an identity proof is needed to apply for a driving licence. Get the application form from the RTA office. Also you have to check the age limit for applying to different types of vehicles from below.

An address proof and an identity proof is required like passport, votercard, ration card etc.

Age Limit for Obtaining a Driving Licence

Motor Cycles without Gear : 16 Yrs
Motor Cycles with Gear : 18 Yrs
Private Light Motor Vehicles : 18 Yrs
Transport Vehicles : 20 Yrs

Apply Driving Licence Online 

Candidate have to pay a fee of Rs. 60/- for single category of a vehicle and Rs.90/- two categories of a vehicles after checking his eligibility. Candidate have to attend a test in person which consists of 20 multiple choice questions s about  Traffic Signs and Rules of Road Regulations. One has to answer atleast 16 questions correctly to pass the test. Re-test can  be scheduled by paying a fee of Rs.30/-. 

After passing in the test the candidate will be immediately given a learner's license.  Applicant should appear in person for the test with respective class of Vehicle and undergo test on driving licence test track before the Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) and Pass for getting the permanent drivers licence. Applicants should do all this to apply for Driving Licence in Hyderabad.

Driving licence test track : After applying to the drivers licence the person have to attend for the driving licence test before Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) for getting Permanent Drivers License along with his Learners License.Candidate who have applied have to pass the test by driving the vehicle he has applied for licence at the location specified at the RTA office.
